Microsoft Rolls Out New Security Tools

On Wednesday, Microsoft took the wraps off a new line of infrastructure management and security tools designed to help businesses protect I.T. environments. But some of the software giant's competitors are not so sure Redmond has the answer.

The new Forefront Client Security software is designed to deliver visibility into threats and vulnerabilities through a central management console. It integrates with another new Microsoft product, System Center Essentials 2007, as well as Active Directory services.
